Mirror Mirror Mondays

aprons

Posted in Mirror Mirror Mondays. on Monday, May 4th, 2009 by annie Tags: apron, aprons, baking, half-apron, kitchen apparel

This morning my two year old & I whipped up some delicious muffins, recipe compliments of a Stonyfield yogurt lid.  She looked so charming in the little half-apron that once belonged to her grandmother, that I was inspired to find something half as cute for myself…

Aprons

{a} Pier 1 has some amazing finds for aprons this season.  Saw it at the store love it!
{b} At only $12.95, you can’t beat this classic.  Again, from Pier 1 Imports.
{c} Of all the Etsy aprons, I think my favorite are here, at Sassy Apron.
{d} A bit of splurge, but isn’t this Williams-Sonoma one beautiful? They even have one for mini-me!

    dear annie,

i don’t know how i ended up on this post about aprons after searching for your contact info/email, but anyway. i guess i will leave what i have to say here.

thank you so much for your kind words after my brief farewell post.

since you were kind enough to say good bye to me, i will fill you in on a bit about why i am letting the old blog go. part of the reason is because i recently found out that i am pregnant with baby number four, so i am now in a full force state of simplifying my life, focusing in on those things in my life that are truly concrete and in need of my attention, exfoliating those things which, while surely enjoyable, aren’t necessary for me at this time, and so on. it’s not that i spent hours and hours writing that blog, oh, dear me, no! and perhaps i would keep it up if it had some sort of business attached to it or something… i don’t know.

    anyway.

even though i will no longer be blogging (at least, not for quite some time), i will still continue to be reading – and i hope you will still be writing because in my searching for your contact info i started to fall in love with your blog!!!

    blessings to you and yours,
    susan
